Janice Z. Gassam Asare, Ph.D. is a consultant, speaker, writer and professor who founded BWG Business Solutions in 2018. Dr. Janice has been facilitating racial dialogue since 2011. She is an educator who teaches university and public courses in topics ranging from workplace diversity and inclusion, performance management, talent development, employee motivation, and African American psychology. Dr. Janice has extensive experience and expertise in diversity, equity, and inclusion through her consulting and research background, as well as through independent writing endeavors.

Dr. Janice is the author of two best-selling books, Dirty Diversity and The Pink Elephant. She is a senior contributing writer for Forbes.com, having authored over 350 articles on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. In 2021, Dr. Janice was recognized by the Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) as one of the Global Top 100 Under 40. 
In 2022, Dr. Janice was voted a LinkedIn Top Voice in Racial Equity.
She has demonstrated thought leadership through her audience of 72,000 followers on LinkedIn and curates a weekly newsletter called The Pink Elephant on LinkedIn, which as amassed over 37,000 subscribers. 
She has spoken at TEDx and has been trusted by Google, Amazon, The Dr. Oz Show, Nordstrom, Paypal/Venmo, Yale University and many other organizations and institutions.

Janice has a Masters degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Louisiana Tech University and a Ph.D. in Applied Organizational Psychology from Hofstra University.
